New phones!

This week we had some sad happings going on. Our old flip cell phones thought that they we not like to call each other, and the sad thing was that the kids and I were to go to IN. The next day. So off to the new phone store we went.
As y'all know I'm so not a "techy" so all the new phones look just a bit scary to me. But out we came with some of the most up to date phones there is.
One of the cool things is that I'm up dating right now with it.
I stil have lots and lots to learn about it, but I think I just might like my " little Android" .

Please be praying for my Aunt. She is back in the hosp. and is lots and lots of pain.
The Lord is teaching me so much about who He is and how BHe is going to receive the glory through this tough time for our family. Most of all the He is Good in all this, so how am I going to act and react? The poor me attiude or the one that is going to point oters to Him, so they can see that even like Job, we can still bless the Lord. And trust Him to do what HE think is best. And how it would be so sweet for her to be with the Lord.
Thanks for praying with us. We covet your prayers. We serve a Mighty God.

Blessings!

5 Months old already!

Aiden Macsheyne,
You are our precious treasure from the Lord.
Your smile and little giggle are contagious, You roll all over to get where you want to go.
Your just about sitting up all on your own, And think you need to eat all the time. I guess that means your going to grow!
We love you and thank the Lord for you.
Happy 5 month Birthday Baby Boy!

I will praise Him, Because you are Fearfully and Wonderfully made.

Home Made Laundry Soap!!!

A few weeks ago we had a Ladies luncheon at church, it was such a great time of sharing and great "Lady Like" yummy yummy food!
One of the ladies shared how she makes and uses homemade laundry soap for her family, She went on to talk about how it's just about $.20 a gallon to make it. Yep!!! you read right $.20 a gallon to make it!!!!!
When she said that I was in. I was ready to make it.
Any way that I can save $$$$ is so exciting to me. I love that if we can save more on everyday life stuff, the more $$$$ we have to giveaway for His Glory.
Any way, so we planned that day to get together that next week and make it.
We had a ball. we each made some kinda of bread to snack on and got together. it was so much fun and Soooo easy to do. and the bread each of us made was so yummy!

I'm not going to go into detail about how we did it. but if your interested in it, leave me a commit and I can email the info to you!

So here is all you need to make it. and then just add water!

The beginning!

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and really like it.
Aiden has really sensitive skin and it's working with him, so that again is saving us lots of $$$$ on not having to buy baby detergent.

Oh so fun!!! We had a great day of fun and encouragement while saving $$$$. and my heart was so blessed just to be with other Moms and Grandmas who love the Lord and want to bless their families.

Like I said earlier, if your interested in making your own , leave me a commit and I can email the info and recipe to you!

Blessings!

Renaissance Fair Day 2

So Sorry it's taken me so long to get Day 2 up for you. We've been really busy this week and my days have been so weird cause of having Mon. off.
O well!
Today we Canned Veggie Soup and Apple sauce. I just loving putting away food for this winter. knowing that we'll have "healthy, good for us" food to eat when the snow starts to fly! :(
But need less to say I'm shot and the house is a mess so I'm ganna keep this short, so that I can get just a bit more done before bed time.

So now on to day 2!!!!
Lets see... we got there before the Castle gates opened so that we could watch the Pre~ Shows. kinda cute, just some little acts to get you to come later to their events !

We had some great food, but no Huge Turkey legs, we didn't really feel like one. and just walked around. it was a fun day.
We ended up heading home about 2 just so we could relax just a bit before Mon. ( Jon had to work).
Here's just a few more pix for you to enjoy!

Just the Three of us!
Aiden and the King and Queen!
Jon got picked at one of the shows to be the "Helper" It was a hoot. I cried so hard with laughter. so much so I couldn't see to take pix.

His stage name was " Bubba" So fun.! and for our LA friends. Should I say Stud Muffin?

Well that was day 2 in a nut shell. we had such a great time that " Lord willing" we'll take the whole family. but each of us dress up to play the parts.
Sooooo much fun.
But I still think the most fun was when I went to get the kids, and Liam came running to me. Saying, " Mama, I haven't seen you in so long, please don't go away again." priceless!
Blessings~

Renaissance Festival day 1

Good Morning!
For our Anniversary back in July I got my sweet hubby tickets for a weekend away at at Renaissance Festival.
We left the older two kids with precious friends and headed out! My heart was torn as they pulled away. We've never left them for this long! But we keep checking in and their doing fine! Thanks everyone.
We're having a blast, everything is Soooooo way cool.
We've seen all kinds of things in this little village. it's been so much more then I thought it would be. when I got the tickets on the net I was just a little nervous that it would be a "podunk" little thing. but thankfully I was so wrong. It's been a great weekend so far. and we still have today to go!!!
At the Festival it's children's weekend. so every where you look you see little Nights Fairies and Princesses. It's so fun. ( But every time I here a little one say "Mama" I turn, it's so making miss our kiddo's.)
So we are off for day 2, here in just a few min. so I need to get ready, but here's just a few pix of yesterday!

The Renaissance Festival 2010!

The Jousting Arena

Jon learning to pay a Didgeridoo. what a cool sound.

The Carillon Bells. Soooo cool.

So Were off and I'm so excited. maybe today We'll have a huge Turkey leg, or Stake on a Stick for lunch. :)
The best part for me is that I love it watch Jon's face as he enjoys this weekend. and for those of you who know my Sweet Jon, Nope he hasn't bought a sword yet, we've looked at lots!

Have a blessed day!
