Modest Monday!!

Good Morning!!!
Monday is here again and I'm just amazed how fast the weekend just disappears. 

We got the garage all cleaned up are all ready to set up for our Garage Sale this weekend. and you know what, more then having the sale I'm excited to spend the weekend with wonderful friends as we watch and help with the sale.
There is  always just something about fellowship that I can't get enough of. :)
The Lord is good.

So on the Modest Monday!!

Here is my outfit!  It was so windy when we were taking pictures that I had to hold my shirt down. :/

Here is one without the sweater, the plan was not to need a sweater, but it was chilly again before we left for church.

I had soooooo many comments about my hair at church, that I thought I'd share it with you. it's looking a bit messy here, but for going all morning and most of the afternoon it was ok!
I found the idea on facebook. :) and tried it. I'll share the picture in a min.
It was super easy and I did a version on of it on Lanna too. but we didn't get a picture of her's.

I'm so excited, this will be my last post from this computer!!! I have worked really hard and have finally saved up enough  money to buy a computer for me here at home! ( I've been using Jon's work computer.) and it's to arrive today. I'm soooo excited to be able to blog more often. :)

Hello!

We had just a delightful  Resurrection Sunday!

The Lord met with us as we were worshiping Him at church, in a way that  I can't remember happening in a very very long time.  It was a powerfully sweet time.
The Lord is so good! 

I was hoping for a new Easter dress, but as the week went by the roads were to snowy to head to the closes mall which is about an hour and  half away, so I went to my trusty
"Good Will"  and found this cute skirt for $3. and made it work! :)  

 It was rather chilly so I just added my jean jacket, I was very thankful I did. :)

For Easter I got this scarf brooch,   We have this lovey little store in town that I just am falling in love with, they have beautiful scarves and super fun jewelry . I ran in on Saturday and just loved this little Brooch, and they were having a "Big Girl Easter Egg Hunt" so I cracked open my egg and got 30% off too!  it was fun to to shop here in our own town and support Local  friends at the Chic Shack. 

I just love how dainty it is!

Modest Monday

Hello!
I can't believe that Monday is here already. This week-end just rushed by, it was filled with planning for our upcoming Spring Ladies Get~Together at church. We're calling it "Clean Sweep."  It will be an evening of fun and fellowship, as well as a clothing swap. But our main focus is on Purity of our hearts.

I'm so looking forward to what the Lord has for us.
 

So this week my outfit for Church was super fun and I'm hoping it will be my last winter outfit for the season.
But here in mountains you never know. ( as I'm typing this up we're getting snow. )

But I know that Summer follows spring, So sometime soon it will be here. :)

Already planning my outfit for Easter! I just might get a new dress. :)

Modest Monday!

I'm starting something new, Modest Monday!!! { I know today is Tuesday, but with the giveaway post yesterday I didn't want to post twice in one day! :)}

Modesty and dressing like a lady is so close to my heart. As a  Believer in Jesus Christ I'm a Princess of a HOLY KING. I want my dress to reflect Him and not the worlds standards. And  as a Mom of 3 "Little Men" and a Pastor's wife. 

Don't get me wrong;  I'm not saying that you always have to wear skirts on Sunday or any given day at that.
 But, to dress in a way that what you wear is not drawing attention to your body by your clothes. and at the same time not drawling attention to yourself by your sloppy dress either. But by dressing in a way that will drawl attention to your heart, and most of all your relationship to the Lord. and out of that your heart shows through by what you wear. 


 My goal for Modest Monday is to post what I wear each Sunday to give you some fun ideas on how to change up your own clothes and outfits that are Modest and fun from my closet!

You're going to quickly learn that I'm not a huge spender and that I rarely buy something new from the store. and if I can get my clothes from a Garage Sale, Good Will or a Hand Me Down, that's great for me. :)
Here is my outfit from last Sunday!

 What I Wore

Corduroy Skirt  – I Made out of an old pair of pants!

Long sleeved Striped Blue Shirt  – Hand me Down form my Sister.

White Sweater – Good Will ( For $2.50 )

Brown Tights~ Wal~mart 

Forgot to put my Shoes on, sorry! I wore little Mary Jane flats ( That came from a Garage Sale) to complete my outfit! 

I love looking Lady~like & Modest and yet have an outfit that is just a bit different and fun. 

And too, I love to see how frugal I can be. like this outfit was about $5.00 but I have had most of it for years.  so really it didn't cost that much at all!!
