Mother Daughter Ladies Retreat!!

This past Friday evening Elhanna and I had the privilege of joining our Church ladies for a Mother Daughter retreat!!
We had a blast, our goal was for mothers and daughters to be together and learn about what it was to be ladies in the Lord.
So to "Charm School" we went!!
Wonderful food... to make up demos, table manors, modesty and much more. it was a delightful evening for young and old with the focus on the Lord with about 60 of us in all!

A make up demo by our head Pastor's Wife and daughters. It was a Hoot! Big sis was the arms ( under the blanket) and little sis was the body and face! :)   We did really have a demo at the end from Mary Kay!

                                                             My baby Girl!
One of the ladies owns a Beauty salon, and did a giveaway for a free hair cut! Tori's hair turned out adorable!!
It was a delightful time to be together and be in the Word of God and laugh with great friends.
Lanna really wanted to stay the night with everyone else, but I wasn't to sure I could sleep on the church floor, so we came home at 11:00.  :)

It was so good to be together with our ladies and teach the younger ladies some "how to's" and I learned a bit too!
I'm so thankful for our church ladies and their hearts for their daughters, and desire for them to see godly role models.

Have a great day,
Blessings!!!

A Pounding!!!

So sorry it's been sooo long, life has been a buzz around here. You'd think that summer was still here by how busy we've been.
But so thankful for the fall and all the changing colors and just the season in it's self. and with the FALL comes the month of October, witch is Pastor Appreciation month!!!
This morning our church family blessed our 3 families with a " Pounding"  It's where they pound us with lots and lots of Love, Gifts of Groceries, Gift cards and Notes of Encouragement!
They also had Lunch planned for everyone, it was a great time of fellowship, and Boy! did we come home "Blessed !!!"
Here is just a little peek of what we were blessed with !!!

We are so thankful for our Church family and just how much they love the Lord through giving and blessing us as their Pastoral staff.
Thank You Pleasant View Church family for the HUGE blessing of encouragement and love this morning. we are so thankful for you!
October is not over yet, so if you haven't taken the time to "Bless" your Pastoral staff. this would be a GREAT time to do it. and coming from a wife of a Pastor it means so much to your leaders to hear from you words of Love and Encouragement and just a simple "Thanks" from your flock!
Have a blessed evening!
I'm off to have a family Movie Night with my family!!! Just maybe a Christmas movie is in store. :)

Fall is comming to an end!

Fall is just about over here in MD and I'm just now getting our pix up.
It's been a really fun season full of lots of family fun.
I want to post about our trip last weekend to the Corn Maze with our church family.
It was a wonderful day with our dear friends, I'm not sure that we really ever truly made it to the end of the Maze. But it was a great day and the kids had a blast just enjoying God's creation and being out with our friends.
Here's some shots of our day!

Our Little Family!

Our family has been really busy this fall with lots of fun stuff. But now that it's the end of Oct. and we've had our first snow flurries that it's time to get all our Christmas Decor. I know your saying " What so early, it's not even Thanks Giving yet." but we spend Thanks Giving in GA. with family so when we get home from there it's Christmas. so this week I'll spend the week slowing putting up our decorations, and then next weekend we'll put the tree up!!!!! I'm so excited. and the cool thing about Christmas this year is that I'm just about done shopping already except for the grandparents and Daddy!!!! I did all our shopping for our kids during garage sale season, and so I have just a few hand made things to do and a couple projects for Hubby to do and were done!!!!
Well were off and running were out of milk and so Wal~mart here we come.
I have lots to share with you I've been researching and learning alot over the past few months about natural things and how to make our home healthier for my family.
I'll share more with you when I have time.
Until then, Happy last few days of fall!
Blessings

The End!

Liam and Lanna sat so still the whole time, each time a new puppet came in they were glued to it!
