Aubrielle Grace"s Birth Story

It's was a busy weekend for us at the Moorman home. and it a began at 6:00 am on Friday!
I was awake a big part of the night just feeling yucky and not 100% . not sure of what our day would be like when 6:30am rolled around I got up thinking that I had a few things that I wanted to do before the family got up.
Well with achy hips( This pregnancy they have been terrible.) I crawled out of bed. and went right to the bathroom all to find bloody show. I was excited but thought to myself, "I'm not having contractions? I'll just go do what I needed to get don't and maybe they will start!"
With dish water drown, I had picked up just a few things and went back to the dishes and was just beginning when felt a trickle, so back to the bathroom I went again to find LOTS of blood. again I thought to my self "Oh the contractions will start, Right?" . I thought I'd wait till the contractions started to call the Dr. to let her know. But this just seemed not normal so... I called the Dr. on call and she informed me that we needed to get to the hospital right away !I'm so thankfully the Lord gives us promptings to do things that seem un~normal to us So I left my dishes and went to wake up Jon and the kiddo's. within 30 Min we were at the Hospital!! We are so thankful for great friends that were willing to help us with the kiddo's last min. when our planned sitter was busy!

When we arrived we went right to OB and The Dr. was waiting on us. I thought it was a bit strange. but soon I would find out why, and would be very grateful!
She went right away to checking on Baby Girl and what was going on. We had a 4th ultra sound and she seemed ok at that point. but when we got back up to OB the Dr. said that we had a decision to make. and she began to tell us that I might be having a "placenta abruption" and that we were going to be induced right away or that we needed to go to C-section now!
Wow!!! This what not what I had planned for our Friday, or for our Sweet Baby Girls birth. But again I'm so thankful that the Lord knows what's best for us!
Jon and I talked through the risks and really felt at pace with going to C-section. I was nervous!!!
I had always planned to have a natural birth so I never really even looked into the going on's of a C-section and what happens.  So she gave us the rundown and we got things started.
Within a few min my IV's were in and everything that needed to be signed was and we were whisked off to the OR. Daddy suited up in Blue Scrubs and all.
39 weeks and 6 days prego!

The Lord saw fit that Both of the attending Dr.'s we friends of ours and were BOTH believers. before we began the Lead Dr. opened in prayer in the OR and within just a few min. that beautiful sound
"Baby's First Cry" that all Mama's Long to hear was heard!!!!
Tears of Joy and relief for us and the Sweet peace of the Lord washed over me knowing that our Precious Baby Girl was here Save and Sound!!! knowing that the outcome could of been different if we would of waited. The Lord is faithful.
"Aubrielle Grace Moorman" was born into this world 8~15~14 at 11:32 am and was 7 lbs 8oz.
19 inches long!
We got a quick peek and a few quick pix and they whisked her away to the nursery to check her out!!!

The next hour or so Daddy was with her and Mama was sound asleep as they finished everything up. and got her cleaned up! the afternoon was a blur for recovery was long for me.
So Daddy went to work keeping up with pix. so that I didn't miss a thing while I was recovering and trying to wake up!

Here's just a few of my fav's that He got for me!

By mid afternoon I was... well awake enough to have some sweet skin to skin time and Nurse our sweet baby Girl! But that was about it. Daddy made all the Calls and emails and things and I rested.
My parents came in from IN. to Help with the kids and spent a few min. with us that evening. I was relived to know that they were here to help and enjoy the kids!

Well that's the beginning of what I never dreamed that I would go through, but so thankful that just as Ps. 29:9 says "The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth", He knew that just one day before her "Due Date" the 15th would be Aubrielle"s Birth~day!!!

Welcome to the World Baby Girl and Our Prayer and hearts desire is that the Lord would draw you to Himself at an early age and that you would walk with Him all that days of your life. serving Him the Lady the Lord would have you to be, and have a willing heart to go and do and be what He would want of you!!!!
Here's just some more pix of our Exciting weekend!
Enjoy!!!

I love Quinn's face in this one! :)

And Baby Aubrielle makes 7!!!

Her First Cloth Diaper and BIG BOW!

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us as the email went out about the possible C-section and for helping out with our Little Treasures!!! The Lord is Good to us.

Cowgirl Dirt Makeup Review and Giveaway!

Today I'm reviewing some NATURAL cosmetic items from Cowgirl Dirt. As most of y'all know, I'm a growing supporter of anything natural, homemade or organic. So I was pretty excited to find this company. So many big cosmetics companies today use ingredients which are harmful and even toxic to us so I was super excited to find Cowgirl Dirt!.

Here’s how the gals at Cowgirl Dirt describe their cosmetics:
“Cowgirl Dirt products are made with the purest organic ingredients. Our collection of mineral-based products not only enhances your natural beauty, but also contains vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants that nourish your skin.”

Cowgirl Dirt products are non-allergenic, gluten-free (I love that!), sun resistant, anti-inflammatory and they are all made in Bozeman, Montana (not who-knows-where overseas). .and anything with colors like Buckskin, Rawhide and Roan has got to be worth checking out. Also, I LOVE that they list all the ingredients to every product, so you know what you are putting on your body. This company is true to their word! I love that I can read the labels on many of the products and actually recognize most of the ingredients! Organic oils, organic beeswax, zinc oxide, natural clays, Aloe Vera, are some of the ingredients that I know. Check them out here. .
Some of the products they sell:
Face: Bronzer, Blush, Foundation.. etc
Lips: Lip gloss, lip tint, lip liner.. etc
Eyes: Eyeshadow, Eye Liner, Mascara.. etc
Body: Body Butter, Body Glitter, Body Oil.. etc
Gifts
Brushes

The Cowgirl Dirt folks sent me 10 samples to test and review:
I really enjoyed using each one of them!
Now I’ve been reading a lot lately about people washing their face with oil, and honestly, this makes no sense to me. I don't have oily skin as it is, the thought of purposely putting oil on my face makes me feel like a new breakout is about to appear.
But I tried the
Rawhide Organic Facial Serum anyway.
They say it opens up your pores, removes bad oils, and replenishes good ones.
I gotta tell you, I just felt like I had rubbed olive oil on my face, and I couldn’t really get it off. Not so sure this stuff is for me …
But, I’ll keep going. This may be perfect for those of you with dry skin.

The cream foundation is very easy to apply. I loved that it was creamy and that it felt nice on my face. not that gritty feeling that I have had with other brands. Cowgirl Dirt offers it in multiple shades, to match each person's skin best. I got in it "Warm, 4" and it seems to match my skin well!
Cowgirl Dirt explains that not only does this concealer hide your blemishes (oh, what a nicer word than zit!), but it also heals and repairs your skin.

I was really hoping the Finishing Powder would do some great things for my skin tones and smooth everything out. While it went on and felt great, I really couldn’t tell any difference with it on or off. I noticed on their website they suggested putting it under foundation to absorb extra oil. I think I’ll try that next time. I used my own mascara and skipped my normal eye liner since I didn’t get samples of those, but Cowgirl Dirt does offer both products (and I think they are next on my list to order).

Overall, it looks like Cowgirl Dirt makes some great, high quality products. And they're made in the USA! Love to support home-country based businesses.
I'm glad to know that when I put on this makeup, it's not full of junk and junk and chemicals.

I definitely recommend checking out the shop for yourself. You can get samples of your own for just 99 cents each. I love that!

Now on to the Giveaway!!!
Cowgirl Dirt is graciously giving away to one of you a
Bodacious Botanical Lip Gloss!!

So now for the Giveaway!
Just leave me a comment below WITH YOUR EMAIL telling why you love Spring! The Kiddos and I will put all the names in a hat and draw some lucky winner on Saturday and I'll announce the winner on Monday.

Blessings!

Beyond Busy!

Good Morning!

It’s been so long a time since I’ve been around!  I’m sad to say that I’ve learned in the months that I have been gone that this is not the season of life for me to be able to blog every day or even a couple times a week. L  I love blogging and keeping up with each of you. But with Family Life, Home Schooling and Ministry, and Baby #5 on the way I just feel like the important things in life are getting left behind. And life is way too short to miss out on the precious lives of our “Lil Treasures.”  I may be back here or there to post a picture, Or just to check in. but until the Lord gives me the ok, I’ll be on standby!
I’ve been promising a Giveaway for months and so I want to do that with you before I go.

So tomorrow come back and check out my Review for
Cow Girl Dirt, and a fun Giveaway!

Blessings!

Joy in Little Things!

I'm striving to find Joy in the little things, in the everyday comings and goings of life of a Pastors Wife and a Mama of 4 beautiful Blessings for the Lord.
But I struggle with the planning and preparing, I want everything to be just perfect! All the decorations and the bling to be just right, the kids to be dressed in their best. and yet what does that do to please the Heavenly Father??
My heart is drawn to this passage from Isaiah..
"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength." ~ Isaiah 30:15

So my Goal for "2014" is to do just that. to find my quietness in the Lord and in Him find His Sweet JOY!
I'm beginning to love all the works of Anna Voskamp. and I just wanted to share this with you. and it's also a sweet reminder to myself.

Have a Delightful Day!

Reusable Gift Bags!

Hello!

With Christmas just around the corner I was busy wrapping gifts and ran out of wrap! I didn't have many gifts to go and I didn't want to buy more wrap at full price.(  I know I'm cheap!) So what did I do but run to my scrap tub.
I was so excited to experiment with what I had and the outcome was fun, and very much of a money saver. :)

So here is what I started with.

I doubled the length that needed and put the right sides together and pined it up!
Just sew across the bottom and up the sides remembering to back stich. :)
I don't sew as much as I use to, and so I couldn't remember how to do the corners, but it quickly came back to me.

Check to see if it looks ok and then Cut off the extra!

It depends on way you want your top finished. but for this one I just turned it made a little hem.
 .

There you have it !!! ( I think the tag took me longer to make then the bag. )
It took all but about 5 min. : ) I was super excited and now if the receiver of the gift wants to reuse it they can . :)

30 Min. later this is my finished  project!
8 gifts bags that all came from my scrap tub. all I need to add is the jute or a Christmas Ribbon!

So even if I was to go buy Gift Bags at the Dollar Store. I still would of spent over $8. but all 8 of these came to about $1 and a little but of time. :)

Have a Delightfully Blessed Day !
Christmas Day is just 15 days away. My Kiddos are on the count down, We are having our family Christmas on Saturday and they can't wait. :)
