New for 2012!!

Happy New Year!!!! I pray that the Lord blessed you with a great end to "2011" and and even more blessed start to the new year!!!
I've been praying about the future of our little blog and where to take it this year. the Lord has led me to share with you where I am in this season of life that He has my in right now, and Boy! it sure is a busy one!!!
Even though it's busy and sometimes I feel like it's more then I can handle. but by God's grace I make it :)
So with sharing about what the Lord using in our home to mold and make us into His image I'll be sharing a lot about...
Loving God's Word, Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman,  Serving My husband,
Money Saving $ Tips, Raising Children, Organizing and Giveaways,(cause we all love giveaways!!!)

And with baby #4 to arrive in April I'm not sure how much I'll be blogging in April so I'll try and get a few things going before he arrives.

So with all that said here is my first Money Saving tip for 2012!!

Freezing Cookie Dough!!!!

We all love the smell of fresh cookies baking in the oven, but with 3 little ones under foot I don't always have the time or the energy to bake cookies once a week, so I've started making a double batch and baking half of it, and then freezing the last batch in balls and when the kids ask for cookies I can slip some into the oven and in just a few minuets have yummy warm cookies for them!
It's been nice to for those times when friends stop by unexpectedly and I have nothing fresh in the house to offer with tea, to just stick them in and there ready in a few, and the house smells yummy too!
So all you do is Make your family favorite's and  flash freeze them for a few hours. bag them up in a freezer zip lock and write the name on the bag and the temp to bake them at, with the time (add 2 minuets to the baking time because of being frozen)  and your set!

I try to have ours lay flat in the freezer, but if space is an issue for you don't worry about it, but make sure their good and frozen before you bag them up!
And when your ready!!
Happy Baking!!!!

Chirstms cards!!!!

It's just 9 days away from Christmas day!!! it's so hard to believe that it's just about here.
Our little home is all prepared and the stocking that I finally got done (after saying for 3 years that I would do some) are hung!
Last year a dear friend gave us a Christmas advent calendar for this year, we have just loved doing it each night with the kids, so much so Hubby is going to build one that's just a bit bigger for the years to come.
This week week we also had our Cookie exchange, ( and I for got to take pix. :( sorry! ). it was a great time with lots of  families, some singing and lots of yummy food!! We loved it so much that we will start doing it each year!
We are getting really excited about our next big trip, we're heading to GA. to be with Hubby's side of the family for the Christmas week.
So enough of an update for now. remember in my last post how excited I was about Christmas cards?
Well in the past few days the kids just about can't wait till the mail man brings the mail. they race to the box to see if we have received any cards. yesterday we got 5!!! they were so excited I just had to share it with you!!!
Here's some pictures I took of them!

Thanks for the blessings!!!!

Just love Aiden's face in this one!
In our kitchen we hang all of our cards for the weeks to come so that we can enjoy each one, and pray for the families as we look through them!
We want to thank each of you that have sent us a Christmas card and up date!
Have a blessed day, I'm off to spend time with my kiddo's.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!

With December here I can't wait to go to the mail box and find those wonderful little Christmas cards and letters from our friends and loved ones. I was so excited to receive our 1st one today, and hung it up to wait for the rest of our cards!!!
I feel like Christmas cards are kind of a thing of the past, but I love them!! and that it means that someone took the time to think of our family and wants to bless us. it just delights me so much!!!  I look forward to scrapbooking all the pictures to look back on in the years to come too!
So with our awaiting excitement to have a card or two in our mail box each day I couldn't wait to get our Christmas card and letter out.  So today was the day, They are all out!!  we'll hand deliver a few to our church family and friends here in the next few days and weeks.
I want to share our Letter with you my blog friends too, and if your on Christmas Card list, you'll just have to resist the the "want" to read it and wait till yours arrives. ; )
So here is our "2011" Christmas letter!

Merry Christmas!!!
It’s hard to believe that the Christmas season is here already. Our year has just flown by.
We’ve had a very blessed year with lots of Joys and Sorrows too. The Lord is always faithful through it all to grow our love for Him in a neat way!

Liam ~ Now 4. Loves to ride his bike and climb trees, higher then Mama really likes! He is growing tall and into a little man. He is a joy and a blessing to have around!

Elhanna ~ Our happy healthy little 3 year old is rarely seen without a pencil and paper in hand. She is becoming quite the “Little Mama” always with a helping hand, or telling the boys what to do.

Aiden ~ Now 19 months, with his little sparkling blue eyes and smiles galore; there is never a dull moment with him around. He helps this Mama remember that, “A clean house isn’t always best.” He is a precious little treasure.

Jon ~ Is very busy at the church, studying and teaching. He loves to spend what little free time he has in the garage, or “shop” as he calls it, building as many projects that this little wife can come up with. He is such a great Daddy, Always giving of himself even after a long hard day at the office! I’m so thankful the Lord gave him to me to be his helpmate!

Me~ This fall an interesting one for me. In Aug.I became really sick, and tired all the time. We were very quick to find out that we were blessed with another “Little treasure” to arrive in April. So, my time has been spent in getting as much done in the mornings and a nap time in the afternoon. This pregnancy had been the hardest yet. But so thankful that we are in the second trimester and feeling MUCH better! Between rough times I have managed to get a few projects done!

May 2012 grow you ever closer to our Savior.

Blessings!
Jon, Carra, Liam, Elhanna,
Aiden & Baby

Have a Blessed day!

Where have I been ???

It has been for ever, and for that I'm so sorry but I promise that I do have a really good excuse. About 9 weeks ago we found out that the Lord had blessed us with anorther little "Treasure" !!
It wasn't more then a few days latter that my Morning sickness kicked in and boy! it was terrible, the worse yet out of all three "Blessings" so far.
Feeling sick just about all day and trying to keep up with all the house work and fun that comes with 3 kiddo's, lets just say that our lives fell apart. the house got messy, dishes piled up till there weren't any left to be used. and you know how I am with clothes and how few we have, so they ran out. it was just not a very good season for the Moorman family.
But I'm sooooooo thankful that it's over and I'm feeling just about 100%. I still have yucky moments, but not nearly as bad as our first Trimester!
I'm so excited to share with you our first Tummy pix!

I'm 17 weeks this pix. and it's been such a joy to watch the older kiddo's learn to help out more and to
"take care" of Mama while I was sick.
Our Dr. says all is well and that baby is growing just fine, we are so excited for the 21st to arrive, we have an Ultra sound and Lord willing we'll be able to find out what our "little Blessing" is and check and make sure that it really is just "One Little Blessing". with being so sick and everything the thought of twins right now is a bit overwhelming, but trusting the Lord that He knows whats best for our family!

We don't want to rush away the Holidays and the winter season, but April 16th just can't be here soon enough. we are thrilled and amazed at our God and the blessings He has brought into our lives this year. 2011 has been a great year and we're looking forward to what He has for us in 2012!!!

With the the holiday season right upon us, don't forget to take time to count your blessings, and Thank the Lord for how He has blessed you this year.  We have been making a list of 5 things each day. it's been so fun to hear the kiddo's share and see the love for thankfulness grow in their little hearts!

Here's just a sneak peak of what our Christmas card pix just might look like, we shot them today after lunch!!
Our Christmas tree is up and we leave for IN. to be with my side of the family in just a few weeks. Can't wait to be all together!
So that's just a bit of what's going on in "My Little  Bleesed World" over the past few months and I hope you can for give me for being gone for so long! ;)
Have a blessed day!

A Pounding!!!

So sorry it's been sooo long, life has been a buzz around here. You'd think that summer was still here by how busy we've been.
But so thankful for the fall and all the changing colors and just the season in it's self. and with the FALL comes the month of October, witch is Pastor Appreciation month!!!
This morning our church family blessed our 3 families with a " Pounding"  It's where they pound us with lots and lots of Love, Gifts of Groceries, Gift cards and Notes of Encouragement!
They also had Lunch planned for everyone, it was a great time of fellowship, and Boy! did we come home "Blessed !!!"
Here is just a little peek of what we were blessed with !!!

We are so thankful for our Church family and just how much they love the Lord through giving and blessing us as their Pastoral staff.
Thank You Pleasant View Church family for the HUGE blessing of encouragement and love this morning. we are so thankful for you!
October is not over yet, so if you haven't taken the time to "Bless" your Pastoral staff. this would be a GREAT time to do it. and coming from a wife of a Pastor it means so much to your leaders to hear from you words of Love and Encouragement and just a simple "Thanks" from your flock!
Have a blessed evening!
I'm off to have a family Movie Night with my family!!! Just maybe a Christmas movie is in store. :)

We'll miss you!

RALPH ZEIGLER obituary

This has been a long hard week for my family. On Thursday my dear Grandpa Ralph Zeigler (my Dad's Dad)  passed away from a massive heart attack.

As we've been helping the children understand whats going on we've asked them some memories of Great Grandpa,  and here's what Liam had to say.

"Great Grandpa loved... Horses, and Tractors"

That's so true that's what he loved his family, their farm and their ponies!

He will be greatly missed by all of us!

Please pray for my family this weekend as they prepare for the funeral.
But most of all for my precious Grandmother Delores. his death leaves a huge hole in her heart and life. and for my Dad and his 4 brothers.

Thanks so much, we covet your prayers
