Merry Christmas!!!

With December here I can't wait to go to the mail box and find those wonderful little Christmas cards and letters from our friends and loved ones. I was so excited to receive our 1st one today, and hung it up to wait for the rest of our cards!!!
I feel like Christmas cards are kind of a thing of the past, but I love them!! and that it means that someone took the time to think of our family and wants to bless us. it just delights me so much!!!  I look forward to scrapbooking all the pictures to look back on in the years to come too!
So with our awaiting excitement to have a card or two in our mail box each day I couldn't wait to get our Christmas card and letter out.  So today was the day, They are all out!!  we'll hand deliver a few to our church family and friends here in the next few days and weeks.
I want to share our Letter with you my blog friends too, and if your on Christmas Card list, you'll just have to resist the the "want" to read it and wait till yours arrives. ; )
So here is our "2011" Christmas letter!

Merry Christmas!!!
It’s hard to believe that the Christmas season is here already. Our year has just flown by.
We’ve had a very blessed year with lots of Joys and Sorrows too. The Lord is always faithful through it all to grow our love for Him in a neat way!

Liam ~ Now 4. Loves to ride his bike and climb trees, higher then Mama really likes! He is growing tall and into a little man. He is a joy and a blessing to have around!

Elhanna ~ Our happy healthy little 3 year old is rarely seen without a pencil and paper in hand. She is becoming quite the “Little Mama” always with a helping hand, or telling the boys what to do.

Aiden ~ Now 19 months, with his little sparkling blue eyes and smiles galore; there is never a dull moment with him around. He helps this Mama remember that, “A clean house isn’t always best.” He is a precious little treasure.

Jon ~ Is very busy at the church, studying and teaching. He loves to spend what little free time he has in the garage, or “shop” as he calls it, building as many projects that this little wife can come up with. He is such a great Daddy, Always giving of himself even after a long hard day at the office! I’m so thankful the Lord gave him to me to be his helpmate!

Me~ This fall an interesting one for me. In Aug.I became really sick, and tired all the time. We were very quick to find out that we were blessed with another “Little treasure” to arrive in April. So, my time has been spent in getting as much done in the mornings and a nap time in the afternoon. This pregnancy had been the hardest yet. But so thankful that we are in the second trimester and feeling MUCH better! Between rough times I have managed to get a few projects done!

May 2012 grow you ever closer to our Savior.

Blessings!
Jon, Carra, Liam, Elhanna,
Aiden & Baby

We'll miss you!

RALPH ZEIGLER obituary

This has been a long hard week for my family. On Thursday my dear Grandpa Ralph Zeigler (my Dad's Dad)  passed away from a massive heart attack.

As we've been helping the children understand whats going on we've asked them some memories of Great Grandpa,  and here's what Liam had to say.

"Great Grandpa loved... Horses, and Tractors"

That's so true that's what he loved his family, their farm and their ponies!

He will be greatly missed by all of us!

Please pray for my family this weekend as they prepare for the funeral.
But most of all for my precious Grandmother Delores. his death leaves a huge hole in her heart and life. and for my Dad and his 4 brothers.

Thanks so much, we covet your prayers

Indiana with Family!!!!!

This week the kids and I traveled to Indiana to be with my family as my youngest
sister gets Married to Clayton next weekend!!
It's been a busy time of planning, I'm having a blast being the wedding coordinator for my sister, it has been just a bit CRAZY and fun too! we have lots of little things to get done, but thankfully we have a lot done praise the Lord!!!
Mom and Cayla have been working really hard before I got here and everything is coming together really well. I just love weddings, and all the fun that goes into it to honor the Lord!!!
But were not all hard work and no play. we've taken time out to get together with the cousins at Busco's Splash Pad!
What a fun time to be together for to kids, it's been soooooooo hot here compared to our mountains of MD. so the splash pad was wonderful for the kids. and I have to admit us grown ups did too! :)
Here's just a few pix of the beginning of our week here in Indiana!

We'll let me try that again... the Kids and and I were sent to IN. by Daddy so that he could work on a project! I'm not sure what it is, I'm just a bit nervous and excited to see what He makes for our surprise!
The weather is bitter so we've been spending our time inside with cousins!!!!! My sisters and their kiddo's have all been over for a good part of the day. the kids have just had a blast together.
So with playing hard comes no nap times and so with that they sleep reallllllly good at night!
bed time was really easy tonight. :) I like that kinda of bed time!
It amazes me each time were here how much everyone grows. all the boys seem to have grew a foot since Christmas, it's wild! Just a good reminder of how fast time goes by:(

As Promised!!!

What a first week back home! We are just now seemingly getting back into the swing of things sadly to say. but thankfully all the laundry is done and put away!!! That is a never ending job at our house!
We did a trip to Six Flags with out teens on Tue. we had a blast and the weather was great!!!

I have been waiting for about 3 weeks now to Share this with everyone, but I Need to share it in person with my Home church family first!!!
I want to share what the Lord did in my life while we were at Life Action.
Each morning we had a session with Tom Elliff. a great man of God. One morning he was speaking about Assurance of your Salvation. and so I was taking notes like I always did. He was going down through a list...
1. Have you make an outward decision?
2. Are you living an upward life for the Lord?
3. Do you have Peace with the Lord on where you will spend eternity?

I was able to answer 1 and 2 but when He got to # 3 my heart was pounding out of my chest and I thought that I was going to get sick.
So I got on my knees before the Lord and asked Him where I stood with Him. and after a long time my answer was "No your not a child of mine." I was overwhelmed, but I knew for the past few years that I was doubting my Salvation, but thought to my self " I'm a pastors wife, what would people think ? I Made a decision when I was 5." But when my fear of man and Pride got out of the way the Lord revealed to me that I was...
"Just a Religious Woman, and not a Child of His."
I knew all the right things to say and all the right things to do but I was a Sinner, and I truly wasn't a Forgiven Child of God. So on Tue. Aug. 4Th I gave my Life to the Lord!!
I was nervous about coming home here to MD. but the Lord is so faithful Pastor Wally was starting a line of sermons about Salvation and so on Sunday I shared with our church family here! I was so nervous as I shared, but the Lord was glorified and one of our teens has already come to know the Lord through this, My prayer is that many people will really think through where they stand with the Lord and that He will make clear Yes or No. I'm so thankful for His awesome Grace and Forgiveness. that I now honestly know the meaning of!

Well as promised here are the Pix from our Northern states Vacation!
