Cloth Diaper fun

About 6 months ago we started on the journey of cloth diapering faithfully.
And at first I wasn't really sure what was going to happen. and if we would go with it.
So now that I'm looking back over the past 6 months I have to say that I'm enjoying it.
Yes, there is much more wash to do, and more time spent. but it so worth it.
Here is just a bit of what I've learned

Did you know on average you will change your baby 6,500 times!!???!! Did you also know that the cost on average for a disposable diaper is around $.35 cents. Do you know what that means? you will spend an average of $2,275.00 on disposable diapers for your little one. Now think about the savings you will have by using cloth diapers. a good cloth diaper stash is about 30 diapers. So even if you spend $495 on diapers you will have a TOTAL SAVINGS of $1,780.00 !!! WOW!!!

Did you know it takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose in a landfill? that means the diapers you wore as a child are still there taking up space. Throw away does not mean go away.
After reading all of the above, ask yourself this. Would you want to wear anything that contained such harmful chemicals? You don’t wear plastic pants, why should you precious little one ?

Anyway... so I love it now and so do my babies. see for yourself ! :)

Lanna wearing one that Aunt Christa made her.
Diapers or Hats?

Even Otty. Liam's Otter got to wear one too!
My latest find was a Bumis Super bright. and also another one, but I can't remember the name of it.
I'm so excited to try them on Lanna. I'll post some pix when they come in.
If you love to cloth diaper too, I'd love to hear from you!

Have a blessed day.

I've been considering cloth, but haven't done it yet. My baby is 7 months now... I'm not sure where to get good cloth diapers.
