Dreaming about playing the guitar some day!

Even Aiden got into the fun!

The Lord Blessed us with a beautiful evening and painted the sky just so He could be glorified!

Tea Time!

My Lanna girl and I love anytime that we have to get all dressed up fancy.
At church a few weeks ago we had a Ladies Brunch, and we were each to wear a hat. So Lanna and I look it just one step farther. we needed Gloves and all!:)

I had looked everywhere for a hat and just couldn't find one. I hit a garage sale the day before and found this beauty.  I know that it's a "red hatters" hat. but when it's a $1 and the event is tomorrow... you go with what you have, and add a nice bright flower to the side! :)
We had a blast at our little Brunch and Lanna loved some " Mama time."

 Have a great day!
Blessings.

VBS Week!

This past week was Vacation Bible School!!!
Our Kiddo's have been looking forward to this all summer and they just had a ball!!
With our church being a Generational Church, VBS looks a little different then I remember VBS being when I grew up. but to be honest with you, I'd rather have it this way. it's such a joy to see the parents and the children all together learning about the Lord!
The Them was "GOD Did It ALL"!

We used the music from Songs for Saplings.  I'll be doing a 6 CD give away here in a few days of their music . :)
The kiddos loved this guy, Pastor Wally did a Great job with him!
My sweet Hubby doing a lesson on Creation!
 Whats VBS without games?
Friday evening we had a big picnic, fried Chicken and all! :)
One of the hilights was a Greased Pig!!
Sorry the pix are a bit blurry, I was excited! Our Lanna Joy is there in the Red shirt!

And Liam's age group, he's also there in the red shirt!
A couple of our helpers for the evening I couldn't do without!
At the end of the evening they had a General Store! the kids loved all the yummy treats. Thanks ladies for all your hard work!
 Some of the adorable treats!
 Just too cute to eat!

Our Little Crew all dressed up for the picnic!!!

Here again is the link for Songs for Saplings Be on the look out for the review and giveaway next week!!!

Mother Daughter Ladies Retreat!!

This past Friday evening Elhanna and I had the privilege of joining our Church ladies for a Mother Daughter retreat!!
We had a blast, our goal was for mothers and daughters to be together and learn about what it was to be ladies in the Lord.
So to "Charm School" we went!!
Wonderful food... to make up demos, table manors, modesty and much more. it was a delightful evening for young and old with the focus on the Lord with about 60 of us in all!

A make up demo by our head Pastor's Wife and daughters. It was a Hoot! Big sis was the arms ( under the blanket) and little sis was the body and face! :)   We did really have a demo at the end from Mary Kay!

                                                             My baby Girl!
One of the ladies owns a Beauty salon, and did a giveaway for a free hair cut! Tori's hair turned out adorable!!
It was a delightful time to be together and be in the Word of God and laugh with great friends.
Lanna really wanted to stay the night with everyone else, but I wasn't to sure I could sleep on the church floor, so we came home at 11:00.  :)

It was so good to be together with our ladies and teach the younger ladies some "how to's" and I learned a bit too!
I'm so thankful for our church ladies and their hearts for their daughters, and desire for them to see godly role models.

Have a great day,
Blessings!!!

Alexs House!!!

Our Church has had the awesome privilege of going to Haiti a lot in the past few years to help out in an orphanage called Alex's House!!!
We have such a huge burden for what the Lord is doing over there and how He could use us to help the kiddo's over there.
Our family loves to hear about all the stories of our friends when they come home of how the Lord has used the team.
I wanted to share just a few pictures of the precious kiddo's over there!
Alex's House

On one trips already this year our church group has got to start helping building part of the new orphanage about 2 1/2 hours away from there current location. We are so excited for the kiddo's to have a safer place to live and a place to call home!!!
here's just a pix. or two of some of the new work being done!!!

We are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do this year at Alex's House.
Would you like to follow and see as well? here is the link to where you can got to see what the Lord is doing and how you can play a HUGE part in the lives of these precious kiddo's.
Have a great week!!!
Blessings!
